Daily flights will depart Kuala Lumpur at 130 and arrive in Cam Ranh (CXR) at 1135. The return flights will depart Cam Ranh at 1200 and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 1515.
The addition of Cam Ranh marks the airline’s fourth route to Vietnam.
Up until 9 July the airline is offering a special fare of MYR99 for the travel period 14 September to 28 August.

The airline will have what it calls “14 Fly-Thru routes” in place for the launch. Fly-Thru allows passengers to travel to Nha Trang seamlessly from 14 cities in Asia and Australia such as from Johor Bahru, Penang, Singapore, Jakarta, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Changsha, Xi’an, Wuhan, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Sydney, or Perth via Kuala Lumpur.
AirAsia also connects passengers to other cities in Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh City, Danang and Hanoi.
Outside of the launch promotion the airline posted a fare of MYR240 on the route. Flight time is two hours and 15 minutes.
No other airline is offering a direct service between the two destinations. Vietnam Airlines’ roundtrip fare stands at MYR797 on the Cam Ranh- Ho Chi Minh City-Kuala Lumpur route. Flight time is 12 hours and 40 minutes on the outbound trip and seven hours and 55 minutes on the return. Readmore…
